Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party - Part 2

Since the party was actually from seven to midnight, we had a couple hours to kill doing "normal" rides and stuff.  The park has lots of cool fall/Halloween decorations all through the months as well as some that they put up just for the evenings that they have the party.  These are some snapshots that we took around the park earlier in the evening.
At the center of the park near the castle, they have some statutes of the different Disney characters in "costume" for Halloween.  This is Donald as on of the three musketeers (the statute that is - the little cowgirl is Kaelyn of course!)  :-)

Kay in front of the "Jester Goofy" statute.

And, in case you can't read, the Princess Minnie statute (and Kay).

I think Kaelyn looks so cute in her costume!!!  Notice how the crack in the pavement beside her looks like a rope or string hanging off of her sleeve.  :)  Also, I got crafty and creative and was able to use some elastic and a scrapbooking hole punch to fix the problem of the hat falling off.  It worked out well!

Kevin and Kaelyn on the Peter Pan ride.  (I was standing on the moving conveyor belt trying to hurry and get the picture before the "ship" left me or I ran into the worker standing at the end of the belt.)  :)

It is very normal to see workers standing around blowing bubbles as people walk past.  Kaelyn stood here for awhile and played with bubbles - 'cause that's why we go to Disney of course!  :)

Entrance to Toontown decorated for Halloween.  Toontown is where you can visit Mickey, Minnie, the princesses, and fairies as well as walk through Mickey's house and Minnie's house, ride Goofy's barnstormer (a kid's roller coaster), splash around in the fountains around Donald's boat or play on a playground.

Kay and I beside a "Minnie Scarecrow" in Minnie's house.  Doesn't it look like the scarecrow is giving Kaelyn bunny ears because of the way Kaelyn is standing?  :)

Me near the decorations (and a garbage can) at the entrance of Mickey's house.  (I always wanted a picture of me near a garbage can at the Magic Kingdom ;) )

We rode the train all around the park to rest and kill some time till we could get in to see Mickey and Minnie.  At the first stop, this family got on and they were ALL dressed up as Toy Story characters.  One of the women was dressed as Buzz Lightyear, one of them was an alien and the guy was an army man complete with his face completely painted green.  As you can see, the little boy was Woody.  I mean these guys were costumed from head to toe.  It looked fun but they did look pretty goofy - especially the lady that was an alien.  She kept bumping into things because her alien hood/hat ? stuck way out past her face.  They sat behind us and they were joking about Kaelyn being in the wrong family.  They thought it would be cute to get a picture of "Woody" and "Jessie" together so we held the two of them up so we could get pictures.  That was around 6:30 in the evening.  Oddly enough, when we were on the monorail shortly after midnight to leave the park, here they all came and they happened to get on the same monorail car as us.  When they sat down, I said, "What are the odds?" and they were like, "Yeah really!"  Course, there was no mistaking that they were the same family we had seen earlier!  :)

Mickey and Minnie were a magician and a witch.  We didn't realize their costumes depended on which Mickey and Minnie you saw.  In some of the other rooms, they had on pirate and princess costumes.
