The good news is, we just got our CD of pictures from both our family pictures taken back in April and the baby photo shoot of Ryan done about a month ago. The bad news (for you all) is that we just got our CD of pictures. :-) There are close to 150 pictures from each session so I have plenty of pictures to blog for a while. I'm sure I'll be posting them long after everyone is tired of looking at them!
I guess I'll go backwards and start with the most recent ones. The Churchill's came to our house and did the pictures [mostly] in Ryan's room. They are so wonderful not only because they do awesome photography but because they are so nice and it's fun having them do pictures. They make everyone feel so comfortable and natural. I was happy with almost all the pictures. So here we go:
Just as a reminder, you can click on any of the pictures if you want to enlarge them.
I was just getting ready to give Ryan a bath before it was time for the Churchill's to get here. Kevin suggested that I just wait a bit so that they could get some pictures of it. So the first pictures they took were "bath time" - this time in the kitchen sink.
How cute is this?
... And this?
He typically doesn't mind baths and seems to enjoy just chilling out and looking around.
Of course, he always "squawks" a bit when I first get him out because he HATES being cold but usually by the time he gets a diaper on, he's happy again.
Getting lotion put on.
This is a unique picture but I really love it!
The next "set" of pictures were mostly of Kevin and Ryan.
This is a picture frame that we saw in the hospital gift shop on one of our "trips" there when I was trying to keep my sanity while being stuck in the hospital. We would eat supper in the courtyard then occasionally wander around the gift shop for lack of anywhere else interesting to go.
I loved it so much. When we got back to my room, Kevin sat down and found it on Amazon and had it shipped to the hospital. It was a nice surprise when they came into my hospital room with a package that had the frame and a digital picture frame that Kevin had also ordered for me.
It says:
Before you were conceived, I wanted you,
Before you were born, I loved you.
Before you were an hour, I would die for you.
This is the miracle of life.
The photo in the frame is one of the last ultrasound pictures that was actually printed out before I ended up in the hospital. I had many ultrasounds after that but none of them were printed out and given to us.
Cute little feet.
The "Mister part" of Churchill Photography with Ryan.
We didn't see this picture being taken so it was a surprise when we saw it and we got a huge kick out of it. :-D
The next "installment" of picture are Kev and Ryan with Kaelyn and then Ryan, Kaelyn, and I.
